Hunter Fisher LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the NORA (Node Orchestration & Runtime Automation) desktop application. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 License Activation Data

When you activate your NORA license, we collect:
– License Key: The unique key you entered
– Machine ID: A hardware-derived identifier used to bind your license to one computer
– Activation Timestamp: When the license was activated
– IP Address: Logged during activation requests (for fraud prevention)

1.2 Information We Do NOT Collect

  • We do not collect your workflows, files, or automation content
  • We do not collect usage analytics or telemetry
  • We do not access your file system beyond what you explicitly configure
  • We do not track your behavior within the application

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information solely for:
– License Validation: Verifying your license is valid and bound to your machine
– Fraud Prevention: Detecting unauthorized license sharing or abuse
– Customer Support: Assisting with license transfers or technical issues

3. Data Storage and Security

  • License data is stored on our secure servers hosted by HostGator
  • All API communications use HTTPS encryption
  • Machine IDs are hashed and cannot be reverse-engineered to identify hardware
  • We retain license data for as long as your license is active

4. Third-Party Services

NORA may integrate with third-party services that you configure:
– AI Providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google): API keys you provide are stored locally on your machine, not on our servers. API calls are made directly from your machine to the provider. Any data you send to these services is governed by their respective privacy policies.
– Email Services (Gmail via OAuth): Authentication tokens are stored locally
– External Applications: Any applications you configure NORA to launch

These third-party services have their own privacy policies. We recommend reviewing them.

5. Microsoft Store Distribution

If you install NORA from the Microsoft Store, Microsoft may collect standard telemetry data (such as installation events and crash reports) subject to Microsoft’s own privacy policy. This data collection is controlled by Microsoft and your Windows privacy settings — Licensor does not receive this data.

The Software’s own behavior is identical regardless of installation method (Microsoft Store or direct download).

6. Local Data Storage

NORA stores configuration and workflow data locally on your computer at:
– Windows: ~/.workflow-dashboard/

This data never leaves your machine unless you explicitly configure cloud sync or backup features.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:
– Access: Request information about data we hold about your license
– Deletion: Request deletion of your license data (note: this will deactivate your license)
– Portability: Request your license be transferred to a new machine

8. Children’s Privacy

NORA is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
